Any electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle fitted with a type 2 charging cable can recharge at Electric 55 charging stations. Users must use a type 2 charging cable to recharge (usually supplied with the car).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

You need a Type 2 charging cable<\/b><\/a> to connect your vehicle to the charging station.<\/p>\n

You’ll also need a charging badge from your mobility provider or a charging app on your smartphone <\/b> (like OVO Charge, for example: Via Playstore<\/a> or Appstore<\/a>). This will enable you to identify yourself at the charging station and start charging. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

To start charging, you can also download a charging application from your smartphone’s Appstore\/ Playstore (such as OVO Charge: Via Playstore<\/a> or Appstore<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

After plugging in your charging cable on the vehicle side, start charging directly from your app and then plug in the cable on the charging point side.<\/p>\n

To start charging, first plug in your Type 2 cable<\/a> on the vehicle side. <\/span><\/p>\n

Next, if you’re using a charging badge, pass it over the terminal to start charging.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you use a charging application, you must validate the charge directly from your mobile application<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once these steps have been completed, connect the cable to the charging point. Your vehicle is now charging.<\/span><\/p>\n

Occasionally, your vehicle may be configured in such a way as to prevent charging from taking place; please check your vehicle’s settings to ensure that your charging time is not scheduled for certain times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

If your cable is blocked on the terminal side, first try disconnecting the cable on the car side (check your vehicle settings to see if you need to activate cable unlocking beforehand). <\/p>\n

After this step, is the cable still blocked on the bollard side? Try swiping your badge over the bollard again. <\/p>\n

To determine the availability of a charging station, you can use both the Chargemap website and the application of the same name. Chargemap will indicate whether the terminal is accessible and whether the sockets are occupied or not. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

When you rent a vehicle, the rental company is obliged to provide you with the necessary equipment: a charging cable and a charging badge. <\/p>\n
